I applied for an Amazon Store Card because I didn't know any better and got a hard pull on EX from GE. They rejected me because they could not verify my identity. This was about a month ago.

I'm vaguely aware that you can get your credit score from someone who pulls it and rejects you. This would be a real FICO, so I thought I'd try and ask GE for my score. Am I on the right track?

def Chase.

and they should have sent you an AA letter with your FICO in it.

you can't just call them and ask them for it.

Couple years ago while rebuilding I applied for WM card (GECRB) for the TU FICO. My TU was my best report by far then and probablty would have qualified. Lo and behold, GECRB pulled EX for some crazy reason. Denial,and a phony GE score of something like 300 on their 150 to 550 scale or something like that.

Lesson learned.

As a follow up, I wouldn't think they would send you a score after being unable to verify you. Theoretically, you might not be you and they would be giving your info to someone else.
