I will be in PSECU as soon as I can get my mother to join. We're both TX residents, but she is a graduate of one of the universities eligible for membership.

My parents are going to be shopping for a new house this year and my mom is paranoid about an inq.

I'm assuming this is because of the free FICOs?

 

DCU - Equifax

 

PSECU - Experian

 

Walmart - TransUnion

 

But why Walmart? Why not Discover instead? Or Barclay?

 

 

Any other reasons besides the free FICOs?

Why Walmart, because its GECRB and they CLI frequently with generous limits.

You supposedly can get Experian through FNBO

That's the route I'll most likely be taking.

I was just denied.....

It looks like they pull ARS not sure which cards they pull it for though.

Yeah, it's BC enhanced 08 though rather than 04. But considering its what I can get that's what I'm doing for now.
Walmart seems to be 08 , but as you said its what we can get. Edited by Remo

I have WM and just got into DCU last week. I don't seem to have a way to get into PSECU tho :(

Make sure they also are eligible for NFCU and USAA. :lol:
