OK, so i disputed my judgement and tu and exp deleted it yeah!!! equifax verifed it. My judgement is recorded at the court house the judgement is paid and is. marked paid on my credit report and now verified for equifax Tthe judgement amount is different than the amount that is recorded and on my equfax report because I qualified to only pay 5% of the medical bilsl.after the judgement was given. Is the grounds for deletion?? How do I handle equifax

thanks so much

Heidi

A judgment is a judgment doesn't matter how much you actually paid prior to its release. Glad you got it off those 2 for EQ you can try removing all your previous addresses then dispute as someone else of same name if that fails you may actually have to file a motion to vacate on grounds that it has been paid.

There is a thread around here about removing judgments. One of the vets (policebox) posted a 3 letter set for filing to VACATE a satisfied judgment. If you have paid it, it is then satisfied, and you can file a motion to vacate it, which then enables you to have the CRA's remove it.

I am actually starting that process this week, copied, typed, and modified my 3 letter sets - I have 2 and my wife has 1 that need removed (all three are "satisfied")

Here is the Link to the credit boards thread with all the info on it:

I can vouch for this method. I got a state tax lien vacated after it was satisfied and it is now off all of my reports!
