Newbie Section in Mortgages?

Hi All,

 

I've been cleaning up my credit in preparation for a mortgage app next year. I thought it might be a good idea to get versed in the mortgage lingo and figure out a strategy. I've been reading random threads, but it would be nice to have an overview. Is there a newbie section or a place to get up to speed?
