If I freeze all my CRs, are there any limitations besides a creditor not being able to pull that CR for new credit?

Is there anything else that I wouldn't be able to do? For example, CLI (luv button and/or auto), dispute mistakes on my CRs, request hard copies of my reports, B*, etc.

Any current creditor can get thru a freeze so should have no effect on CLIs. It would stop offers of pre approved credit and does stop some 3rd party pullers getting thru someone else may have more to add to the list

true in theory, but not in practice.

if they are attempting to pull a hard, they will often be blocked by the freeze. not because they can't legally pull through it, but simply because the software they use to pull doesn't know the difference.

I wondered about that as I have seen some threads say that the CLI required a code or unfreeze and others have said no prob.

All of my reports are frozen but I'm opted-in and I get preapproved offers all the time.

I think it depends. Some will give a CLI on a soft, but others want a hard. In my experience, if they want a hard then having the CR frozen is a deal breaker.

But there are anomalities. I had GE refuse a CLI until I unfroze TU just so they could do a soft pull. I had B of A perform a soft on EX while frozen, but B of A swore it was a hard pull -- but it wasn't.
