I have 2 negatives on my CR. Absolutely not mine !!! No way they can prove it, I"ll fight to the death. How much of a rise should I see in my score when they are removed? Anyone know how long it will take? I just sent letters to the big 3 Thursday.

Someone out there has to have at least a guess????

Hey pennyless -- is the Big D Dallas...?

And welcome to crediboards!

There is NO way to make even a remotely educated guess on your question(s). Even if you'd provided a full rundown of your entire credit profile, including CURRENT FICO and which model/source by which it was calculated, all negatives that may remain after these are gone (if any), all closed positive TLs listed, all OPEN positive TLs listed...lengths of all of them, credit lines, utilization of said lines, how old these negatives are and every detail about them...your shoe size, mother's maiden name, and photos of all birthmarks and/or tattoos you may have...the answer you'd receive would still be speculation, in large part. (I'll spare you the reasons why the timing question is unanswerable...I'm sure you get the idea, though.)

But I have a much more valuable prediction to make -- actually, let's call it a promise. If you'll hang around here on a regular basis (daily is my suggestion) and read until your head is about to explode and your eyeballs twitch involuntarily, I will personally guarantee that you'll be more than grateful to come back to this very post to tell us how thoroughly amused your then-well-informed self is when you re-read your very well-meaning and yet completely unrealistic questions above.

Seriously...we really do hope you'll stick around! :clapping:

Howdy folks!

It has been a long time since I posted here because there hasn't been much movement on my side but I am excited to tell you all my hard work has finally paid off!!!

This past week I got the only negative on my report to send a pay to delete ! I paid and now will reap the rewards in 30-45 days. My FICO is up from 618 to 692 since april and I believe it go well over 700 when the pay to delete hits ! All in less than 1 year! DON'T GIVE UP!!!!!

Remember the immortal words from "The waterboy" YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!

Don't be afraid of those punks !! I talked to many of them, they tried to threaten me(thinly veiled) and everything else under the sun. One guy sounded very threatening said you are gonna pay this. LOL I said well if you want to come take it from this 6'3" 230lb. former Marine, you come on down you have my address!! he hung up LOL I did wind up sending daily emails all the way up to the president of the company and he responded "We WILL take the pay to delete" the next day it was done.I think basically they spent so much time dealing with me they were on edge and probably losing money..

After agreeing on the phone and 7 emails this is what I got, well my response:

name redacted,

Is this the way you choose to business? low down dirty tricks? Misspelled names and such? Sell your soul to the devil for $305.81? I want to do business with you or someone above you. You passed this off to an underling and he tried to trick me into paying. When I responded by email within 13 minutes of receiving the email from him I received no response and I called, strangely a young lady answered and stated Mark was away from his desk and demanded I pay her. when I refused she hung up and might I remind you I have it recorded. I will only do this by email.

They can play dirty but by God I can too!!

Never confuse a Marine's kindness for weakness for we do not ever forget how to be brutally vicious.

What the What???? By the agreement from the last negative on my report. They removed the neg from Equifax but not from Transunion. Transunion score went up 1 lousy point but..... equifax went down 51 points. what the heck happened?

Anyone what?

I am at a loss for could have possibly caused this. I certainly didn't apply for any credit as I and a credit repair company are working on my credit.

Lol thanks mom I have never heard of a scoring "bucket". I do know that I applied for a chase freedom card today and was instantly approved! It's only $1200.00 but considering where I was in April of 2014 I think I'm doing GREAT!

Congrats! That card is a keeper. No reason to ever close it.
