Do I use Whychats method for medical collections that should've been covered by Insurance?

Recommended Posts

Hello All,

I've been a fan of this site for a few months now. Used a lot of the advice in here to get some baddies removed from my CR.

I recently (yesterday) had two medical collection accounts hit my CR. Dropped my score 49 pts. I also have an older medical account listed which is abt a yr old. These stem from ER visits from my son which I know for a fact should have been covered by insurance. I spoke with the OC regarding the two new collection accounts. He verified that the ins info was never passed along from the hospital and he is correcting account. He also said he would contact Universal Collections.

Should I use Whychats methods for all 3 derogatories?

Thanks in advance!!!
