Any Credit Unions Offering 0% BT for more than 12mo?

Hello CB,

 

I'm looking to add another Credit Union to the mix, one who is offering a 0% Balance Transfer option for more than 12 months? So far, it seems most credit unions are only willing to go up to 6mo. Except for PenFed which I have no chance of getting approved, due too many new accounts.

 

Would like a Credit Union who prefers to pull TU, but I know that's a long shot!

Credit Unions I already have accounts with....

 

1. PSECU - Combo

2. Navy - cc, and Navchek

3. DCU - no credit prods.

4. PenFed - no credit prods.

5. Alliant CU - no prods.

 

Scores are 700+ All clean

1,2,4 have typically some of the best CU BT offers.

Unless there's a local or regional out there, none can think of fit specifications (pulling from any of the 3 crb).

Going forward work up profile for Pen Fed card eligibility, since they tend to have some of most compettive BT offers of any CU.

Yea Penfed has a 0% for 18 months going on right now but it has a transfer fee of 3%. I got in on a fixed rate for life of the transfer that they going last year. They do seem to offer them quite often.

I had about five new(four months old) accounts and Pentagon Federal Credit Union approved me quite quickly. You never know, you may be approved. I also have a much shorter credit history than you do.

Thanks everyone!! Great Feedback... Yeah, will let my new Chase accounts age some more and will try to get in with Penfed. I have 5 new Chase accounts within the last 12mo .. so they will prob. say I'm working on giant Pyramid!! lol
