My score are all now 800+. But just as Bob replied, In 2006 I applied for the most cards ever and started getting the 50K limits. Scores never dropped below 720 730ish. But I took hits, lol

IMO, it probably becomes more about income when those kinds of limits start turning up. I wouldnt know, I haven't gotten any over ~7K yet.

I will have just over $500 on my B of A Privileges card ($55,000 limit) when the statement closes tonight, but I won't know if that matters because I would be under 1% utilization both before and after the balance updates. I will go from one card reporting a balance to two, however.

 

I have a "before" TU FICO from Discover, but I won't get the "after" one for a while.

 

I believe in alchemy, though, so I'll just trust you on this one.

2 out of 3 are over 800, but the other one is close. However, like you, I applied for most of my cards around 2006.

Hmmh, I've let a card or two reach over 35k and I took a hit. I went from the 800's to about 710-730 across the board. My overall total credit limits were a bit less at the time also, but the most that I have ever reported was about 120k. I wish that I had a charge card at the time and maybe I would have had better success. Anyways, I know the game now.
