Had a Target store card opened back in 1999 which converted to the visa around 2004 or so. Credit limit was 12k. IIB for about $600 in 2012. Unfroze my Eq to try my luck tonight and instantly approved for 2k!!!!! Very shocked at the limit. EQ score 676 as of 1/28/13.

Congrats :)

If I remember correctly a new bank took over issuing cards for Target this may have been a plus for you

Thanks gdale6. Previously Target National Bank was the issuer when I had the card and I believe TD bank had just taken them over when I IIB. But definitely a plus!

I had previously applied about 3-4 months after BK dsch but was instantly declined both times due to the previous account IIB. But no hard pull on my CR thankfully for those two declines. I guess after a year they finally had a change of heart. Hope you get approved later on down the line!
