Convergent (Unpaid Utility Bill for $447)

NCO Financial (Germanna Community College $543)

Capital 1 Auto Finance (Repo, after auction we owe $1774)

CERTEGY (Returned Check amount $1 - after fee it is $51)

Verizon (unpaid account $983)

Stellar Recovery (unpaid Comcast bill $81)

Pin Credit Services (a second Verizon bill or the same as above?? $529)

Enhanced Recovery Company (Comcast??)

I would like to try and PFD some of these accounts before we settle. My husband and I want to buy a house and having these off our credit altogether. But I don't want to waste my time or play my hand by contacting them with a PFD if they are known not to give those.

Convergent will fold if you DV them as they can't prove anything. Same with NCO.

Enhanced Recovery will delete if you challenge them through the Florida Office of Financial Regulation. They have been trying to shut down ERS for some time and have an online complaint form that anyone can use not just Florida residents,

Cap1 does NOT do PFD or goodwill for ANY reason.

The rest I have no clue but it can't hurt to try.

Keep in mind that PFD's are a method of last resort after all other methods have been exhausted.

Have you exhausted all other methods?

Honestly I am still trying to get old addresses off the reports. I keep getting the old line of "connected to a tradeline" with no help. =( We really need to buy a house this year and at this point if we have to pay we will pay. =(

Sounds like you are nowhere near even entertaining the thought of attempting a PFD
