Just logged in to my mileage plus explorer card from Chase and noticed a $2,000 CLI, taking me to a limit of $7,000! This is consistent with what I have read about Chase CLIs before on the board.

I have had the card since August (about 6 months)

I use the card regularly and charge about $2,000 per month.

My highest limit card is from Citi at $8,000. (I read Chase will give limits just below you highest limit)

This also happened to me with the Chase United Explorer card. Got card in April 2013. I would charge an average of 4K/month. I would typically PIF before the statement cut and one month I let a large balance (10K) report before I PIF. Somewhere around the 6th month, my card automatically went from 12K to 16K. 16K then became my highest card. :yahoo:

Congrats! Chase is kind of known for their discreet, surprise CLIs. A tiny little message appears on your statement notifying you they increased your credit limit.

Is your card an actual Visa Signature? Congrats on your auto CLI, those are ALWAYS nice!

Yes, it is says Visa Signature on the front of the card.

Yes, my card is a Visa Signature Card.

I am hoping that I get a similar increase on my Chase Sapphire at some point.
