I've tried every option, but with no success. Now my credit on Equifax has two baddies, and my experian has two baddies.

 

1. MY MORTGAGE IS REPORTING 110K BEHIND, EVEN THOUGH I SUBMITTED MY MODIFICATION PAPERS TO THE CREDIT BUREAU, THEY WONT CHANGE.

2. IN 2008 ON EQUIFAX, MY DAUGHTER HAD ME SIGN FOR A CAR, THAT SHE GAVE BACK, SO SHOWS CHARGE OFF.

3. ON EQUIFAX, FIVE PAID IN FULL CARS SINCE ANY ISSUES WITH MY DAUGHTERS CAR

4. ON EXPERIAN, THE SAME ISSUE WITH MY DAUGHTERS CAR, AND THAT MORTGAGE, BUT ONCE AGAIN FIVE PAID FOR CARS.

IVE BEEN EVERYWHERE, AND CANT SEEM TO FIND AN APPROVAL, PLEASE HELP ANYONE.

Unfortunately, I cannot read a consumer version of a credit file. And I usually don't analyze line by line. You need to arrive at a dealership early one morning, NOT A SATURDAY, and get yourself approved.

 

With 5 PIF automobiles, some lender will approved you for a loan. You will have to part with some cash IMO.

Any decent sized dealership, we almost all use the same lenders. Easy to pick up the phone and call the lenders to which you have been submitted and find out the decisions without even submitting an app, and see about what it would take to get you approved.

 

I am not a fan of CarMax's finance department, if one could even call it that.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH, SEEMINGLY THESE DAYS, FINDING A FIGHTING F&I MAN IS A RARE THING IN COLUMBIA, SC, IF DEALERTRACK OR ROUTEONE CANT GET IT DONE, NOTHING IS GOING TO GET DONE.

Most of us, choose our battles very carefully. The sites you mention are only online avenues to submit an application for review.

ALSO DID ON ROADLOANS, AND WAS APPROVED, BUT I KNOW, FROM PAST INCIDENTS, THAT DEALER FEES MAKE DEALERS RUN.

 

If you use your RoadLoans approval at CarMax, there is no dealer fee. I had a RoadLoans approval and I used mine at CarMax and it was a easy, no hassle experience. Just pick out your car and drive away!

If there is a will there is a way! My nephew who is 22 came to me to help him buy a car. He tried on his own and got turned down everywhere. He had no prior auto loans and his credit was in the mid to high 500's. His job was at a temp agency for 2 months. I was in finance for a few years so i have some experience how lenders look at things and if you talk to the right person there is always a way. There is a dealer near my house that has been there forever and cars are always changing quickly and they advertise that "if you like the car you'll get approved guaranteed". I want it to find out how they did that, so I took my nephew in. He found a 2008 Pontiac with 82K miles that he liked and could afford. The first thing the sales guy asked is how much he had to put down, I told him to answer with a lower amount then what he had so he said $1,500. I asked the sales guy how they did their financing and he said they do their own approvals they have a credit line with their lender and they have to buy back the deals that go bad. My nephew would have to make his first 2 payment to the dealer and then they sell the paper. This reminded me of how the secondary market worked when I was in the mortgage business back in 2006. The sales guy proceeded to fill out the application. He corrected the income after my nephew said $1,500 per month, he said that will not work and he entered $2,000 per month. He asked for $500 more down and my nephew would have to come up with it within 3 weeks, he said ok. My newphew actually had $4,500 but he didn't want to spend it all. Then we went into the finance office printed the loan papers and my nephew signed them and walked out with the car little over $300 per month payments. I tought this was and interesting experience to share with board because I didn't thing either that my nephew could be financed. By the way he didn't have to provide proof for income, residence status, proof of address etc...

Then we went into the finance office printed the loan papers and my nephew signed them and walked out with the car little over $300 per month payments. I tought this was and interesting experience to share with board because I didn't thing either that my nephew could be financed. By the way he didn't have to provide proof for income, residence status, proof of address etc...

yup, only usually 2 requirement for a BHPH lot.

 

#1 Cash money for downpayment

#2 Be able to breath.
