Called Experian today with my paper report in-hand. They removed 4/6 that I tried for. The last two are to be removed 11/2015 and 2/2016.

I have to say this was the most pleasant experience that I have ever had when calling a CRA.

Received confirmation that the 4 items were removed today!

I'm super excited to hear that TU is deleted even earier than 6 months! I just disputed 3 IIBs from1/09, 2/09 and 3/09. Will report back with the results.

I got my results back from my TU dispute. I actually disputed 4 items - 3 out of 4 deleted. A Chase IIB from 03/09 remains. Should I try again next month?

What were the dates of the three that were successful, if you don't mind me asking? Did you have a 3/09 deleted or were they all earlier?

Edit: I have some 3/09 myself, so I'm particularly interested. Also, did you call or dispute online?

I had a 01/09, 02/09 and 2 03/09's. All were deleted except 1 03/09, which makes no sense. I disputed online and it came back in less then a week.

And those are your only derogatories? On the utilization, do you have any good accounts, or do you just have the CA? When you don't have any open, positive accounts, a CA or CO with no offsetting available credit limit really tanks your score. When you get your Fed tax lien settled, the IRS will drop the public record and you can then get it removed from your CR's - you'll see a huge jump from that.

If you have open accounts with high utilization, you're going to have to bring them down - anything over 50%, either on a single TL or your total combined CL's, will crush your score. If the problem is not enough good CL's to offset the CA, then look at getting one or more secured cards. If you could afford to park $2k in a secured card for a year, it would greatly diminish the effect of the CA (view it as a forced savings account).

No, I have two Usaa secured cards that were closed by them , but not yet charged off. I'm over the limit on both of them, but paying them off slowly but surely. I have two secured cards both @$500 each but the opensky hasn't reported yet and I just recieved my unsecured totalvisa card today with a $300 limit. I also have a fingerhut account with a $230 limit , I spent $100 on it and made the first payment of $30. I was able to freeze Ln and waiting to to dispute all leftover PR's..there is a bk left on ex and eq, ex has a drop off date of 2/2016 and Equifax act like they dont want to play ball with me.

Fingers crossed, I requested 3 pd student loans that have a ridiculous # of lates due to come off 11/15- so 2.5 months early. How long between your filing dispute and the removal? Just wondering if there's any correlation to the response time: 2-3 days deletion, full 30 no deletion

i did all my disputes with EQ online

I disputed one 90 day late january 2009 in which the 60 dofd began december 2008 and was denied. None of the CSR's removed it. Everyone else had theirs removed .. confused.

People are using this method to remove entire negative trade lines, not individual late payments within the trade line.

Thank you for the reply cv91915 .. does that mean with 90 day lates they cannot go to a positive status early?

it looks as if this a delinquency, not a date of first delinquency leading to a chargeoff... old lates do not negate later payments on time so far as removal.

Innovis shows it becoming positive 09/2015 ... will the other CRA's follow through with that date as well?
