Well I decided to apply with logix. Mainly because I have been recently hearing good things about them though that information may not be 100% correct. I applied for the regular savings. Then I decided to apply for the credit card. After the application it said I was pre approved for the following:

Platinum Rewards: 15K 13%

Platinum :15K 12%

I selected the rewards card since the interest rate does not matter to me. If approved for that rate it would be my lowest. If approved for that limit it would be my highest. Blowing Navy's out of the water at 12K

I have a discharged bk 7 two years ago. I have multiple inq's on EX (8 or so). Scores are around 650's. Utilization is 3% or so. Several other credit cards in the 1000 dollar and up range. Current auto loans with nothing but good history. Current personal loan with good history. Ect ect.

Now, I wonder if they will approve me. I know they are funny and even though I was pre approved someone still has to review it.

Impatiently waiting here.....

Logix is not very nice, my brother had to send them in paystubs, bank statements, letters from his work, tax returns among other things...this is AFTER he got the approval notice.

After he sent in all that they denied him for too much 'new' credit. His scores were 720+, he had two credit cards that were atleast 1.5 years old, paid mortgage, 2 car loans paid off and makes 65k + a year.

I was recently approved with Logix for 15k. I applied online as well, was instantly approved. Called the next day and spoke to the loan officer who email me the documents that needed to be electronically signed, and the credit card was ordered. No issues at all....

I just received my approval letter and credit report disclosure. Credit score was 668 and they pulled Experian as expected.

But

It looks like underwriting already reviewed it. The amount was changed from 15000 to 5000. I'm still 100% cool with that it will be my second highest credit card. I have to call the loan officer tomorrow to finalize everything.

Yep, Same here. Keeping fingers crossed that everything goes smoothly. I actually already signed a bunch of docs. For the credit card and savings account that they emailed me. They were really quick with everything. Did they request income docs?

Spoke with someone today finally! They said after underwriting looked at it they reduced it to 5K. She said at first it was because navy was my highest line (5k) at the time. That was actually my old limit about 3 months ago. It's 12K now. She asked underwriting to bump it up and they said no. She specifically mentioned my BK. So they are definitely BK friendly!

Hey.... I'll take it!!! Second highest credit card line! No income docs requested.

If you have experian frozen, will they default to another CRA?

Tried this. Got a call asking to unfreeze before proceeding. Unable to pull another CR per call.

Thanks for sharing!!

As far as the approval goes, they do not seem to factor in inq's or new accounts heavily. I feel that by having both of these ( 10 inq's and multiple new accounts under a year as well as my bk) it obviously played a part in why my limit was reduced.

I also applied for an auto loan and personal LOC after my CC got approved.. My auto loan was denied simply because they do not lend in the state of GA. It actually says in order to open an account you have to be from certain states. That's the only reason I was denied for the auto. My loan officer was very nice. I applied for a PLOC and like I said was approved for 10K. We finished the app for 10k in a matter of minutes after I spoke with here this morning.. I called her back and asked how much I was approved for after she already started to issue the check, She said 15k. I said is there anyway we could change the amount?

Got it done no problem. Logix just blew everyone else out of the water. Highest tradeline to date. Annual income was 76,500.

I had a very good experience when I talked with everyone and they are very nice to deal with. I asked about Experian and they said that is the only CRA they can pull from. Just wanted to add some confirmation to the above posters comments.

That's awesome. Congrats! Tempting. But I need another CU card like I need a hole in the head. Not to mention I've opened 4 or 5 new cards over the last 2 months. Waiting to see what happens to my AAOA when they all start to report.
