GECRB changed expiration month to November,
and sent out a new card with 5 points back in November.

5 points back on non-PayPal, eBay, Gas, Restaurant.
3 points on Gas, Restaruants
2 points on PayPal, eBay

PayPal cash deposits are redeemed as following:

11,500 points / (5 pts / $) = $2,300 spent
$100 Cash back / $2,300 = 4.3478%

6,000 points / (5 pts / $) = $1,200 spent
$50 Cash back / $1,200 = 4.1667%

I'll keep an eye open, thanks.

I just used my PP MC three times for ~$1 each to get a $10 statement credit, in response to a targeted email offer. This is much more lucrative. :D

Is this point structure a limited time deal?

The 5x points is only in November for me.

3x for gas, restaurants; 2x for PayPal, eBay is standard. (Did I use the ; correctly?) :P

I think the redemption values are the same as before.

I have zero points on my PayPal MC,

so I can't check my redemption ratios.

Ah thanks. I saw the original post and starting thinking, "I NEED THIS CARD." But if its a limited time deal, I will pass.

The standard redemption options are pretty bad. They do have redemption specials from time to time, if you have the energy to keep checking.

Examples of standard redemptions:

Current special redemption offer is pretty decent ($0.01/point), if you consider that you earn 2x-5x per $1 on certain transactions:

IIRC they have a super high APR don't they? Something over 20%? Of course this sia a card you should never carry a balance with I suppose.

I'm jsut wondersing abotu another GE product since Wal-mart has been so good to me and getting to $25K was fairly easy.

Can't think of any other GE product that i would want righ off hand,

Thanks.........hope they pull TU . It's my highest score at 819 now.

I don't think any new applications are going to get this Holiday Shopping 5x offer.

Nor necessarily every current cardholder. I haven't seen "boo" about this.

Thanks for the TU info. That's good to know. Possible in the near future I might go for it. Just not looking forward to doing any B* anytime soon. It's just so nice not to have to pull your Credit 4 times a day and with one of them being 24 hr and a minute it's really a PITA, LOL.
