Barclays Maximum Credit Limit (CLI Request)

Does anyone have any experience (either first or second hand) with what is the highest credit line that Barclays will issue? Said another way, does anyone have experience with credit lines >$20k?

 

I currently have a Priceline card with a 20k limit but would like to have this increased when I hit the one year mark shortly, especially now having access to the TU08 score Barclays uses.

 

I reviewed credit pulls prior to posting this question, generally only saw relatively low (<10k) limits, only saw a few other $20k limits, and did not see any limits higher than this. Any experiences or other information would be greatly appreciated.

The USAirways I have with my husband is at 24,450. We started at 21,500 and we are coming up on 2 years with the card. Never requested a CLI, just had automatic ones.

Got a current limit of $28,100. Opened it like 3 years ago with a $25K limit, 1 auto increase only. The limit is on the average to slightly below average compared to others.

Please say it isn't so! My TU08 is consistently over 30 points below my TU98. The only consolation has been, almost nobody uses TU08.

 

I opened another Barclays account in September and they were still using TU98.

I guess I should hedge that by saying Barclays provides. TU08 score, and I assume they also use it. My TU98 is around 780-90, 04 around 795, and TU08 is 829. The last time I called for a CLI, they pulled TU, and the rep said I had an extremely high score, which leads me to believe she was looking at an 08 score vs a 98 or 04.

Well, as with any issuer your limits across all cards will depend on qualifications. I'm currently keeping 40K on the Priceline card, but other Barclay cards have 50Ks and 20K.

I recently requested and received a CLI from $18.7k to $25k on my Barclays Carnival card.

My Priceline 2% card is at $25,000, been there for a while. I think that is my max exposure with Barclays. Great customer service on my end from them though, love the card.

Barclays just gave me $1800 its low but zero percent for any purchases for 15months. I charged it up and its already half paid off.
