Yeah...wrong forum, my cheerful friend.

Actually, Doc is the one who dubbed you as Happy...so maybe that makes sense.

so, you have to have these credit cards to get your scores? that seems a bit odd.. how can you get credit cards until your score is high enough to apply? Am I missing something here.../ is this the "back door" that people discuss?

barclaycard is light on credit pull information for TU... Any luminaries out there? Its that or walmart... hoping to hear which is best...in other words, lowest score needed! don't care if it is a toy card, want the TU fico 08 for free at least monthly. Except for mortgage, I will be clean very shortly...looking to keep cleaning up, have DCU and a credit builder of $2500 on way from UPennCU...don't know how they report, will have a secured credit card shortly also from UPennCR (they start offering in the fall). Looking to eliminate double mortgage on file which is misleading... in process of trying to work that out. thanks to all

Discover also offers a free TU 08 score. Of the 3, Walmart is the easiest to get.

I can't recall where I saw the question asked, but I figured the answer was best placed here. :P

In case you're considering one of the FNBO cards for a free monthly EX08 Bankcard Enhanced FICO,

and you're curious how soon you'll start receiving it after approval, mine began right around 30 days.

Of course, I didn't KNOW it was available, because there's nothing to notify you. And I believe I'd read

somewhere on CB that it takes 2-3 months before you start receiving it. So I never checked. Until now.

Not sure when it was available, actually, but it was generated on 6/11/2014. So I'll know sometime after

the 11th of July just how quickly they make it available. I'm eager to see what a 32-yr-old Amex does.
