Need Help!

 

I was the authorized user on a corporate credit card. I was issued the card
by my Corporate employer. The corporation defaulted on the card and went out of
business. I never accepted responsibility for payment of corporation debt. The
credit card company has no record of any application for credit with my
signature taking responsibility. They have no application on file for the
issuance of the card.

I am now charged with negative remarks in the form of write downs. My Credit
score dropped from over 800 to 635. I am unable to obtain new credit. The credit
card issuer never reported the activity on the card on my credit file for 18
years.

FCRC rules state I cannot be held responsible unless I agreed to be
liable.

What recourse do I have: to have the remarks removed. The Credit reporting
agencies refuse to remove the negative remarks.

File complaints with the BBB or your state AG, and the CFPB if you don't want to send the letters I recommended.
