This is from my portion not covered by insurance for an ER visit last year. I work for the hospital and thought it was supposed to be written off. The hospital part waswritten off but the ER physician part wasn't. I got a dunning letter and new collection last month on equifax. I tried the new Pre-Hippa letter but equifax said the nature of my dispute was unclear. I was going to re-do it and then a dunning letter came today from a law firm. I have been trying to get the hospital to help me built looks like I'm stuck. Do I pay this law firm to avoid a judgment and just get the paid collection? Is it too late for the hipaa process? The bill is 380 dollars so I can pay it.
