How long does "in progress" with amex take?

I applied for a delta gold on the 24th of July and to this date it still shows "in progress". They triple pulled me immediately that day and every time I call in (once every few days) they state it's being reviewed and if they need more information they will call me. Does anyone have experience with it taking this long?

That is a better sign than a denial that is for sure. Sounds to me like they are doing a manual review... especially since they triple pulled. What are your scores like? I expect an approval for you, but a low limit... like 2k.

I just pulled EQ Fico @ 667. I expect this one as my lowest based on the collections that is only on this one. USAA Fako say EQ 660 EX 670 TU 670.

My first Amex involved a 45 minute phone conv with an underwriter and a 2k approval. At 61 days it became 6k, at six months 15k and at 1 year 24k
