So - Capone wants to charge a $74 annual fee for a bs Orchard conversion. Unfortunately this is my oldest (positive) card. Since the line will remain in my AAOA calculation, it shouldn't hurt me to close it correct? (it has zero balance BTW)

Did you request it to be waived with the EO?

I did not. Should I call or send my request via email? Has anyone had success with waiving the annual fee this way?

I have had sucess with getting the fee waived, and I have not heard of them saying no to anyone.

I've gotten everything BUT a PC from the EO, although others on the board have had success, I've had personally the following done by the EO. CLI, AF waiver/credit, addition of rewards (I have a fake quicksilver card!) etc. Definitely get in touch with them

"Everything but a PC" has been my C1 EO experience, as well.

 

Am now working on rebuilding credit so that I can contact them again in the future.
