Found it. It was a bit involved, but here's how I got there::

I googled "Consumers CU", clicked the first link, clicked "Apply Online Now", clicked "Credit Cards", clicked "Loan Applications", clicked "Visa", clicked "I accept" on the disclosure page, then the drop-down for "Credit Limit Desired" goes to $40,000.

Doesn't seem to be any way to deep-link into the application; looks like it uses a third-party site for loan apps like many CUs.

 

Edited to add: Interestingly, there seem to be two different Consumers Credit Unions, and they alternate in the Google results. The narrative above is from https://www.myconsumers.org/ The other one, https://www.consumerscu.org , has an empty edit box for "Loan Amount". I assume that myconsumers.org is the correct one.

Fifth Third bank pulled EQon me the other day. I applied for a business CC and I even asked the rep who took my application what bureau they pulled and he said Transunion. The next day I got an alert from one of my credit monitoring sites that of an hard inquiry and when I looked it was on EQ from Fifth Third bank. Now I'm not certain if it was done that way because it was a business CC or what, but I wanted to give everyone a "heads up."

I am looking for an unsecured personal line of credit. Which of these TU credit unions do you think will have the best rate?

GECRB/Ebates pulled EX on my application.

You shouldn't leave the house without clothing, and you shouldn't go through life without freezing Experian.

Thinking both EX and EQ should be put on ice unless one has an AMEX plus lots of patience and a high tolerance for frustration.

Speaking of having Experian frozen, if you apply for a Bank of America credit card and you get an "application pending" message, call the backdoor number and ask them to pull TU instead. Worked for me twice.

 

I've never called with EX on ice. Will they ask me why it's frozen? Will this work for a cli also? Thanks.

EX is only for the app or freeze and pull TU

Just for the reference, when I called the BD number directly for a new approval , My EX was frozen and they asked if they could pull another report and I assumed it would be a TU pull, but they ended up pulling EQ.

 

Also showed up as FIA.

 

I think the BD number was for both FIA and BOA products.

you just tell them to pull TU.

I've also told them to pull EQ and they will do that.

BOA is very flexible.

They have been great for CLI's

They combine Limits

They Let you choose the CB of choice

 

I'm actually quite happy with them now

I'm very happy with my BOA World Wildlife Fund card. I was thinking about apping for a new BOA card and asking for a cli on my existing card. My wwf will be three months old. I wonder if they'll even accept an app for a cli. I should read my welcome info and stuff. TU is clean except for 10 inqs. So, mid-october is what my notes say.
