Has anyone with a BK been able to get a non retail card with Comenity with the pop-up? Not me. I've tried Vitacost and Total Rewards.

I just got the Coldwater Creek MC the other day with the pop up. But I dunno what bureau they are softing... if its EQ then they don't see my BK.

I applied yesterday for Total Rewards and they pulled EQ for me. I got the 7-10 day message, so I called just a few minutes ago and the guy said it normally takes 7-10 days and I will be notified via mail.

You might get denial when you get 7-10 days message.

  • 9 months later...

They turned me down last month, citing my 2009 BK as the only reason.

I tried a year or so ago cold and my BK from 2009 was the reason they declined me also. Did you apply cold or did you get a preapproval letter/message?

Applied cold. Comenity has never approved me for anything.

Like I said, I only ever got one after getting about 30k in points one weekend. I also cashed out with over 12k in cash and had to give my SS# so maybe that had something to do with the sudden pre approval. Who knows.

  • 2 years later...

digging up this old post. Last time I was in vegas they said I was preapproved for their CC but I declined. Recently logged in to my rewards accounts and got the pop up I was preapproved so I said wth since I'm going to vegas a few times next year. Asked for the last 4 of my SS so I figured SP but I just got an alert today that they pulled HP EQ. I'm pretty mad. I wouldn't have app'd if it was HP. I'm going to call later today to see what the deal is.

This happen to anyone else?
