for the gamblers in the crowd there is a new Total rewards Visa card that is coming out tomorrow.

I am curious if anyone has any Visa or Mastercards that are through Comenity. I have 2 cards in my wallet that are issued by them but they are just store cards. I was able to get them with little problems so I am curious if they will be more strict with the Visa logo on it.

I was approved for the Sportsman Guide Visa last month. Lots of inquiries and new accounts. You can see my scores in my signature.

I am at work right now so I can't call.

HRguy, although I do not have a BK I have been approved for store cards so I was holding out hope that I would get this too. Maybe on lunch I will call them.

They put this as their APR so I am still holding out hope that they will be lenient.
22.99%, 17.99%, or 13.99%
when you open your account, based on your creditworthiness. This APR will vary with the market based on the Prime Rate.

I always find it funny that with worse credit you get a worse interest rate, yet if they think you are going to suck wouldn't they want you too have a lower rate so your account didn't get out of hand.

Aw dang, cash advance fees and no grace period. How am I supposed to overextend my gambling now?

Ha! Exactly.

Overall, it isn't a bad rewards card if you're a player at Caesars casinos. The points don't expire and that will keep less-frequent visitors alive on the Total Rewards radar. There's also no annual fee and that's good. I checked the terms three times and it says nothing about a foreign transaction fee.

Platinum status with Total Rewards is guaranteed. Well, that's great and everything, but Platinum gets virtually nothing a Gold member does not receive. Check the comparison chart:

I will think about it and possibly apply next week. Waiting for some things to update on my reports at the end of this week. After that, a mini-spree awaits!

No because none of your cards have the co-brand name reported

On my reports my Sportsman's Guide Visa shows as COMENITY BANK/SPMNGV

Doesn't tell someone much abbreviated either way. I would not be concerned with it even if they did spell it all out
