Cach has recently validated a debt, with some recent charge statements and the bill of sale. At this point I think they would have a pretty good case if I was sued. The amount is pretty high, 21k. I might be able to pull enough for a 25% lump sum, but within the next two months. They will likely not accept 25%, but I hear it is a good start. Any advice on getting them to hold onto this without suing, at least for the next two months?

They are kinda sue happy. For 21k and proof, a lawsuit is almost certain. They sued me over 2k. If its any consolation, I had been receiving dunning letter for a while, and the language began to lean towards lawsuit. Because the amount is so high, it may be time to pro-actively contact an attorney. Buyers like CACH usually do not have all of the correct documentation to properly prove their cases in court, when you are defended by an attorney. A bill of sale and a statement would probably not be enough to hold up in court.
