My previous application in July was denied instantly, so after some clean up I decided to app again. Got approved instantly for $500. Not the limit I was looking for, but it beats a denial, and a waste of hard pull. They pulled Equifax, which shows my score is higher than it is. My Fico is actually 671!

Congrats on getting approved on the Home Depot card.

I got approved last month with a $500 limit. So, I thought I would call and ask for an increase. I called the same day and asked for $4000 limit and was approved. It was very easy. I did not have to provide pay stubs to them. My score is around 650ish. Here is the number I called:Home Depot Store Card: 800-677-0232

Go on and gfive it a go. Ask for a few thousand at least. Best of luck!

I called that number and was told to go to the store to verify ID, but the store told me my limit is still $500. :-(

I would try calling again tommorrow. They asked me some Lexis Nexis type questions to verify identity. Didn't have to go into the store. Maybe weekdays are better to call.

Here is my Home Depot story.

Back in June, applied online. Since I had a fraud alert on my EQ report, they asked me to call in. Once I called in and verified info, they approved me for $500. Later that day, I called back and asked for a CLI to $5K. Approved. About a week later, I went into the store to request another increase. The cashier verified my infotrmation and called Citi to request the increase. They asked to speak to me. I told them I wanted an increase to $10K. After a few minutes, the Citi rep let me know that I was approved for $11K.

They pulled EQ for me. I'm in IL. It was a second hard pull to get the limit to $11K. My EQ at the time was in the 680 range.
