I called and the 2 furniture companies were not ones that were serviced by this CSR.

Has anyone tried this number for Rooms To Go or Ashley Furniture?

Lowes $1000 -> $5000

Chevron/Texaco $650 -> $4000

Paypal Extras Mastercard $2000 -> $5000

 

I probably should have asked for more but didnt want to get too greedy and hear no I'll probably call back in another couple of months and go for more!!

Everyone is thanking me but this was a complete accident.

 

I asked to be transferred to underwriting, and the CSR said ok sure and let me give you their direct number.. my insides were burning with laughter at this point... had a feeling we struck gold.

In the thread I posted earlier in the week, there wasn't a particular number to call. I was simply calling the customer service number for each card and asking to speak with underwriting...

Dangit! I just received a brand new banana republic card and they refuse to increase the limit.

 

I haven't called for Amazon yet.

I got no love from GECRB

I'm stuck at a $100 account. I asked the analyst how this could be, since I just didn't understand why so low of a limit for about 5 years now! Apparently I had a Lowes account that I screwed them over on back in 2002

 

Oh well. I closed the account, since the account was unusable and I've been wanting to close down the smaller lines for a while. Good luck to the rest of you!

Rooms To Go $4000 -> $8000

Ashley Furniture $3,000 -> $3,600

 

I guess at the point of raising my limits $15,000 they figured that was enough....good day though!!!

well..........Approved $7500. She asked me less questions than the automated system does. Total call time was 3 min and 14 secs. All I can say is holy chocolate! Good work here folks! Thanks

I too called the number mentioned above and got my walmart discover increased from 2500 to 4600. Then I called for my lowes card and also got increased from 4600 to 6100. All with soft pulls. Thanks for sharing information.

Um, apparently I had called after business hrs. It worked for me today also!

I applied online for Walmart card and got the message " you'll receive a decision in 7- 10 business days" so I called the number to verify I was declined, and sure enough I was, my FAKO TU 657 with 8 baddies a judgement from '09 and 5 positive TL. My question is should I call the UW or go the in store app process and then call
