I had success getting them removed from my reports. I disputed with the cra's first but I also sent a tx dv afterwards so I'm not sure yet which one worked. Waiting to see if I get a letter from cach to see if it was them.

You got them off with a pfd or the tx dv?

I got it off successfully from the CRA's as I never received a letter from CACH. They did send me "validation" (I think?) I disputed as obsolete with TU (deleted) and pretty sure the same tactic for EX and EQ. IT was set to fall off next summer.

CACH will sue. NEVER NEVER EVER do anything with CACH that is not in writing, They will settle and PFD IMHO if you wish to pursue but make sure they are in writing. They violate like crazy and they are dead meat in TX.

Dead meat in TX?

After several attempts at a pfd I finally received a response by email stating that my settlement (40%) had been accepted as long as I pay by 8/31. They sent me a signed pdf letter that states once I pay the settlement amount, all liability will be released from my name. So excited to be close to getting this removed!!!

So they are deleting once you pay? I know everyone stresses this point.

Yes as I will no longer be liable for this account (Yes I have this in writing). I also have a contact at Cach that will remove once settlement is reached with the Law office its being handled with.

This thread is fairly old, so I am not sure if you are still on this board. However, would you mind sharing the e-mail you have for Cach (please)? I am hoping to arrange a PFD with them as well.

I have a citibank credit card that was sold to Cache. Does anyone know what state Citibank is in?

Would it be the same state where I sent my payments?

South Dakota 6 year SOL.

YOu do realize this only work s if you your home state has a borrowing statute?

I'm helping my kid sis out with this as well - she had a BOA account c/o'd and sold to Cach LLC. Originally $600ish, now closer to $1k. She wants to offer to settle at the original balance, and PFD.

Who's the contact within Cach than can make this happen? Thanks.
