*BETA* Automatic INQ Counter for EQ and TU

Recommended Posts

It looks like the .tk DNS system is having some issues. I guess that's what you get with a free, anonymous registrar.

Oh well. If they don't get it resolved soon, I'll post a direct link using the IP address.

Hey guys, I know it's a simple answer, but I can't find it in this thread or others. I'm able to see my soft inquiries on my Experian daily report. However on my truecredit and myprivacy matters acounts, I can't find the soft pulls on my Transunion, only hard pulls....where do I go to find this info, so I can use the Transunion counter dntknw.gif

Thanks guys

Yes C* is choppage. You're not screwed, as many B*ers are on the C* list. It just means you need at least 3 pullers.

ETA: It looks like yours is probably a false positive.

CTB Thanks for the quick reply. I finally got the e-mail to sign in to my MPM account, and had to call customer service to find out about how to refresh my report....she was extremely nice, and walked me through the process, which was pretty easy, and I realized that the problem was that I didn't wait the necessary 24 hours between updating.....so the funny part is after talking to her, she asked casually "so you are updating so you can get bumpage right"....I acted like I had no idea what she was talking about....none the less I thought it was funny that she knew what I was up too rofl.gif

And so now I have my two pullers.....EQ and MPM, I'm waiting for my stupid letter from USAA and I will have my 3 pullers finally yahoo.gif....being the impatient person I am, what is a 4th puller.....I do not have American Express, so I can't use that option, and I don't live in Virgina glare.gif

Thanks guys.....and happy early 4th of July good.gif

You really don't need a fourth, but C$ is the only other one (which does require Amex).

I think Fidelity is the only tentative one that might count. The Auto counter doesn't have it in the white list, so not getting counted at the moment. But do let us know how many drop tomorrow!

I can't speak to Fido but Thinkorswim didn't count for me. May or may not bear any significance here.

Okay I have 3 sticky softs and I know why. One of the Intersections is sticky. It had a separate line on my softs (a duplicate). The one that counted was taken off but the duplicate stayed and is being counted in the counter. Same thing happened with 3/31 Fair Isaac and the 4/23 Equifax Consumer Services. This COULD be why people are having a hard time figuring out if Fair Isaac and Intersections count for them. If a duplicate stays it gets counted in the counter.

I had one hard fall off today (a total of ten to start and down to nine) and no other changes to any softs or hards occured so I am thinking that the fidelity didnt count and one of three below most likely did.

  • Total confirmed softs found: 76
  • INTERSECTIONS: 01/23/12 (1)
  • FAIR ISAAC: 06/01/12, 01/21/12 (2)
  • Total unconfirmed softs found: 3
  • Total possible softs found: 79

If I were to guess, the Intersections and the FAIR ISAAC from 1/21 were duplicates that are being counted (same thing happens to me) and that the 6/01 FAIR ISAAC is counting

It's counting mine. Sometimes with INTERSECTIONS and FAIR ISAAC I get two separate lines on my softs each for the same dates (duplicates). For example:

INTERSECTIONS: 1/01/2012

INTERSECTIONS: 1/01/2012

Now, only one of these count. The other is the duplicate. In this case, yes the counter does not count both. However, once I B* off the good soft the uncounted soft (the duplicate) remains on my pulls. The counter then counts this one.

Even if they're on two separate lines, they shouldn't be counted.

muss, send me your softs por favor.

I tried a couple times to get anything to double count and wasn't able to so I'm not sure why you are. Are you sure you're using my counter and not the old one?

Well one line will B* off leaving the duplicate line behind. Then I think the counter is counting the left over line. My softs from a few days ago are posted above. I no longer have any duplicates showing on my overall softs because the good softs have been B*ed off. Last round of B* all unconfirmed softs counted for me and now i'm sitting over 85 total (confirmed and unconfirmed). Definitely using your counter. I bookmarked it soon as you put it up.

ctb, what muss is saying is that when there are duplicates, one duplicate is properly ignored.

However, when one of the dupes is bumped off, the one that is left should be ignored, but is included in the new count.

There's no way to keep track of those, unless there's a log of bumped softs.

lol i think you're very sharp. I've very impressed with the new counter. I am wondering if this is why some people are having problems figuring out if FAIR ISAAC and INTERSECTIONS are counting for them
