Shoprunner is a service where you pay a yearly membership fee in exchange for free shipping for various merchants. Kind of like Amazon prime...

I got a free 1 year membership 6 months ago and I've used it exactly once...I saved the $1 delivery charge on a Dominos Pizza lol.

They got me at "Free" :P

+1

But I had to "earn" mine by using the service 3X while in the trial period. I've used a 1/2 dz times or so in the last 3 months. The free 2nd day can add up very quickly!

I like the FREE Dominos delivery also plus -

DEAL: 50% off ANY Pizza at Menu Price Prices,

EXPIRES: 06/17/2012

  • 1 year later...

I have this from an offer earlier this year and use it fairly often. I like it a lot.

I also made the mistake of using this for Domino's. Once. It probably won't surprise anyone to learn that their food is still horrible.

No, it wouldn't. I don't expect Domino's to change since they have a reputation to, er, uphold.

Can't say I've ever tried their pizza.

I'll stick with Costco. :D

Domino's is terrible. It was actually better before that PR/ad push they did a couple of years ago promoting better ingredients. If you're going chain, Papa John's is light years ahead of the other two.

I usually avoid all restaurant chains for food. The best [insert restaurant food time here] always comes from a local place.

Always.

Icringe when I hear people talking about splurging for a special occasion by going to a place like Ruth's Chris, or McCormick and Schmick's. Recently on a business trip I was with a group of about 12, and the majority chose Chili's for lunch.

F***ing Chili's! If I hadn't been outnumbered I may have started punching people.

I realize this post is a year old but I HATE Chili's. It a step above fast food yet still under Whataburger. Overpriced, slower fast food

The indignity is as fresh as if it had happened yesterday.

FedEx to Acquire ShopRunner to Expand E-Commerce Capabilities

I still have never used this service but apparently it is valuable.

drugstore.com

drugstore.com + ShopRunner was a great combo for a long time.

drugstore's prices were as competitive as anyone else's, and two-day shipping required no minimum purchase.

It was extremely convenient to just order one thing at a time as I approached running out, instead of letting things stack up on a shopping list.
