First new card since... 2007

Recommended Posts

So. I haven't been in the credit forums for ages. Long story short. Divorce+unemployment+living off credit cards=BK7

just discharged last week. I went from cards with an average credit limit of $25,000 to my FIRST APPROVAL SINCE 2007.

Captial One Platinum, CL $500, no AF for the first year (then $29).

Let the rebuilding begin.

In the same boat. Just got my first dispute results back and we did pretty good. Good some good deletions. :good:

Rebuilding with Cap1 too. Funny thing is that Cap1 wouldn't approve DH or me until after we filed bk. They actually sent us the offer with no fees/no interest for a year. Um, ok.

Good luck to you! You're not alone.
