Congrats Bob.

I went from 801 to 820 according to the PSECU score. I thought it was weird for the big jump after being 800 for an extended time. I wonder if something changed with their scoring. Because there is no reason for the amount of bump. util is about the same, etc. Strange to me.

Trev:

Yeah, funny how we both jumped so much.

I know that 8 points of my increase is due to letting 1 card report a balance.

The other 17 is gravy.

But, I'm not complaining. :P

No, I'm not complaining either. Just 2 months ago I was irked that I couldn't break the 800 ceiling

Just wish I could pinpoint the bump factor. Happy new Year from experian?! :P

Bob how long did it take you reach 840? It seems that I can not get above 827 I had a lot of mortgages, installments loans but very little on credit cards I wonder if that has a big effect? :dntknw:

Bob, what do you think it's going to take to get that last 10 point?

If EX is to be believed, absolutely nothing he can do but sit back and wait for a while... a long while. From post #1, "You have a short credit history." Aah, those fun-loving CRAs...

Unless, Bob, you're being punked with that "explanation." Either way, congrats!
