Did Amex BCP waive your annual fee?

Last month I applied for a BCP and got it, I thought the fee was waived the first year. Today my statement shows an AF. CSR claims they don't waive the annual fee on BCP, just on charge cards the first year.

Has anyone got their BCP fee waived as part of a sign up promo?

If you got the $150 welcome bonus offer that's $50 more than the Everyday so that means you only need to make up $26 this year for it to be a better deal/count as having it waved plus profiting

To do that you'd only need to spend $72 a month on groceries

I got mine at the end of sept. They didn't charge the AF and my welcome bonus was $100. My third statement just posted, so I have the points for the first two statements (due to the lag) and have already earned $75 in rewards.

As far as I know the $75 annual fee applies even during the first year on BCP. I just got mine this month and am fully expecting to pay the $75 AF. There could've been a brief promo where it was waived, but I don't remember seeing one.
