MACYS NOW REPORTS CL!!

Recommended Posts

For the store card?

I just called the number on the back of the card and the automated system didn't state a CL.

A lot of big changes with our credit software lately. I hope everyone else notices limits on their store accounts soon.

The phone system is the last system to be updated, compared to all the other systems.

Macy's always takes forever to cut statements and report...

I'll wait until I am pretty sure they have updated and then backdoor EXP.

Will this also impact Bloomingdales Store Cards reporting as well?

Yes, we have the exact same policies for both. So far though, on this thread, we only have one person who has seen the limit on the CR.

Just checked my EX report which is the fastest reporting bureau, and nothing is showing for me, the op who wrote this thread is your limit reporting for the last known credit limit you had before Macy's ended reporting?

So MAYBE the only reason it's showing a CL on yours is because you disputed it???/ I pulled my reports today and still does not show a CL...hmmmmm...maybe Settle can offer some thoughts on this?? Do we need to dispute the CL to get the limit to show OR is this a change that Macy's has implemented??? It'll be interesting to find out....

With the holiday shopping season coming up, I for one will use my NFCU nRewards card at Macy's instead of my store card to avoid the hassle of the cashier having to call to get approval for the sale...that's just purple IMO.....

Your post made me go look at my credit reports that I pulled last Friday - and I noticed Macys doesn't even SHOW UP on either of them - EQ or TU. Weird, yes?

When they start reporting, I'll start shopping there again. Until then, only enough to keep the TL open.
