Don't know who updates here, NFCU stated there wasn't an age to add an AU (via secured message). I added my twins (14) and my other child (11) and they have already received the cards, in the letter specifically stated "this card will now report to the credit bureaus" :yahoo:

 

What is the benefit of adding them now?

 

They would receive the same benefit of account age if you added them right before they turn 18.
