My thoughts are the BK reduces the exposure limit, though you're really at some nice limits 3 yrs post!!!

:good:

You might be right. My BK was discharged Oct 2012 and I have a total of $37K (NavCheck $15K and CC $22K). The last CLI I requested kind of indicated that this is my max for now. BK comes off in February so that's when the luv button will get some excercise from my finger.

Well, as this post was resurrected... I'd like to update my former post in this thread in that my cash rewards card is now at 50k limit... :P Oh, and my NAVChek is 15k. :D

I just opened two NFCU Business accounts today. Business Credit Card and Business Checking Line of Credit. I am wondering if the max exposure of $80K includes business or not? I guess they can whack down some of those personal CC limits to increase Business. Maybe exposure doesn't count CLOC's? If so then I have room to grow.

Personal:

Visa Siggy goRewards - $22K

Visa Siggy cashRewards - $22K

Checking Line of Credit - $15K

Business:

Business Visa Credit Card - $25K

Checking Line of Credit - $15K

Total Exposure - $99K

NFCU just got the cash reward 5k approved when is the best time to get a CLI

I'd use it for everything for three or four months, and then ask for a CLI to 25k. They will usually counter offer a lower amount if you do not qualify for the amount you ask for.

So i should used it for 3 or 4 months and before i ask for cli i should pay all the balance and have it at 0 balance or does it matter to have it with a balance ?

I don't know if it matters, but I paid mine to zero every month. Got the full 25k with a soft pull.

It should be automatic if that is the starting limit.

With a 5k limit you qualify for the signature version of the card which you should automatically receive.

You mentioned calling to have it added which is why we were confused. There's nothing to add.
