Capital one closed two of my CC's today .. a 39.5k and 9k card. I guess they decided they were sick of me making more money from our relationship than they were.

 

Still.... lost 49.5k lines overnight. Ouch!

 

In brighter news I am waiting for news on my Chase Ink Cash card. Made the application two days ago and first round of UW was an approval. Waiting on round two.

 

Will be nice having an extra 25k in spending on 5x office.

Just got approved for Chase Ink Cash which allows me to earn an extra 125k UR yearly ( much needed ). Was so hopeful to get this card and am so thankful that I did

 

They approved me for 5k and I am transferring 3500 available credit from my main Chase Ink bringing that one to 16k and the new one to 8.5k

Hit a new record for my FICO today. 837 on TU ... 13 points from perfection. I don't know what changed on my report to get me here, but I will take it.

It has been one hell of a journey. This is going to be my last post here.

 

I wish you all the best. This board changed my life. My TU fico came in at 837 this month. I have all the credit I could ever dream of. I fly international first class for free... and so much of it is due to this community.

 

I hope this board does for you what it did for me. Good luck to all of you in your credit journey and dreams.

 

Lastly... I miss Bob Wang.

At one time CB HAD and incredible stable of awesome contributors and was a lot less contentious....

 

The primary problem with CB is our success. Once critical knowledge has been obtained, credit repaired and major limits obtained, people move on and fail to contribute back to the CB community. This is not always the case, however it occurs much too often.

 

So I have to ask, what happened to BW and where has Trevor been?
