Just finish reading the whole thread.

Truly inspiring.

Quick question, what technic you used to attack OCS and CA.

I need to deal with 2 OC accounts(Bofa and Chase0 and 1 CA(Midland)

Thank you

Understood

Thank you

I am not the right person to talk to about this. My repair portion of my journey was surprisingly easy... all my CO's had been paid in full years prior and would have fallen off within a couple of years of finding CB. I was able to dispute and goodwill damn near everything off if memory serves. There are a lot of people on this board more educated than me when dealing with current collections etc

Officially earned my Southwest Companion Pass today. My girlfriend would officially like to thank CB

Sweet. I am 737 points away myself. should have next week. It's a great deal. And for me 1/2 the points were done through portals so I'll be ready for credit card bonuses again in early 2017.

@Kayvebear congrats on the luv button. Curious aren't the best results with Cap1 always with calling the EO and no chat/luv buttons normally?

I'm keeping track of highest limits on here and MF combined and two people that showed screenshots on MF have $50K with a Cap1 Venture.

Is your new $33.75K Cap1 a Venture or QS card? Have you seen or heard of anyone with a $50K limit on a QS Cap1 yet?

I thought I heard that EO is no longer doing CLI's at Cap 1.. regardless EO denied my last 10 requests. I have heard of 50k starting lines at Cap1 ... automatic approvals.. that was a few months back. Mine is a Venture, but I also have Cap 1 sony card at 8k.

I'm on your trail, sucka! CapOne took me from $22->$45 last week...

That is such unbelievable crap (but congrats). This is one of my oldest lines... since 2008 I believe with perfect payment history. Only USAA is older at 2002, (though all my Amexes are D* to 2000).

They should have me higher than you. :P lucky

Mine is 6 months old. I would expect it to be ~$250,000 in 6 years :P Edited by Konrad2012

Currently in the process of buying my first home. Just went through 36 hours of offers and counter offers etc. but it looks like we have come to a deal. The seller is supposed to sign first thing this a.m...

Unfortunately with new lending laws the loans take forever. Looking at a 45 day close. Doing a 5% down Freddie Mac at 4% (damn rates went up this week) and paying the PMI up front.

I'm not up to date on the ins/outs of the mortgage market, but have you looked at the feasibility of avoiding PMI by wrapping a 2nd mortgage for an additional 15% of the purchase price?

I think that would only be possible on a refi..

I locked my rate today at 4% fixed for 30 years... rates took a jump the last two weeks against me. Oh well. Not bad at all. Let's hope the rest of the loan goes smooth.

Had a friend who, in 2003, was advised to take a second mortgage at purchase to reduce 1st mortgage to 80% financing (avoiding PMI). The interest on the second was less than the annual PMI, so made sense.

With lower rates these days, and higher PMI since 2008, it might still be something to look at ...

I am proud of myself.

I just closed my Chase Southwest Biz card, and transferred $9500 of it to my INK Plus card... (they wouldn't transfer full 10k). They also refunded my $99 AF that I paid. (SWEET). Got a ton of Southwest points, companion pass etc for free and increased my Ink PLUS Biz limit in the process.

Also just closed my Chase Southwest Personal Card.. no AF to refund but transferred 22k of my 23k limit to my Freedom card.

Once my escrow closes I will apply for Chase Sapphire Preferred 50k bonus and that will be my goto card I believe going forward
