UPS from FISERV?

So, I'm out of the country on vacation until April 8th and my apartment complex notifies me that I have a UPS and when I asked them to tell me who it was from she said "FISERV". It is apparently an envelope. Being the paranoid freak that I am I am trying to figure out what the hell this could be. I was not expecting any UPS's while we were away and I have never heard of FISERV before... could this be something bad? I am only worried because of old BK accounts coming back to haunt me or something. Three weeks ago or so I got a call from a lawyer trying to collect money on my discharged mortgage debt...so, I guess I'm feeling a little insecure when I get strange UPS envelopes when I can't see what it is! :D

Any ideas? I tried to look up FISERV on the web and it just gave some kind of generic financial services company.

Fiserv is just down the road from me and I know a couple of people that work/have worked there. I don't think that they do any collections or anything like that. They mainly provide software, research, and integration of their products to financial institutions.

Probably a survey or something from your bank or CU would be my guess.

However, I can't say I'm an expert on their services or anything, so who knows for sure.

You might have apartment folks release it to a family member or something and then you can find out for sure.

BTW, have a safe trip!

Thanks! :) I think I actually figured it out... lol... super paranoid super sluth at your service! I believe its from Verizon... we were supposed to get a 100 dollar rebate for our FIOS service and I found an article online that said verizon works with FISERV. And I found an old voicemail from them saying I would get a UPS in the next 30 days.

So, mystery solved. :)

Yeah, I think one of the things FISERV does is issue debit and credit cards, so that's probably what it is. Also, Verizon has a tracking portal in your account for rebates, so it might tell you in there.
