I was just about to post that the scores are out. It sucks that they've gone to Vantage, but at least they now give you more information of your ranking, with an A-F grading schedule.

Does Alliant allow you to apply for credit products

with the same inquiry that you use to join?

Or do they need multiple inquiries

There are pre-approvals that can come during the online membership application, but if you don't get what you're looking for there then it will cost you an additional pull.

976

BWAHAHAHA

man....I guess that's where the difference in AAofA, number of credit products, etc, pay off.....Otherwise, my TU FICO was 782 and yours was only ~20 points higher....for Vantage, its 767 vs 976 - quite a difference

The VantageScore offers some distinct advantages, including providing credit scores to a larger population of members and consistency across the three major credit reporting companies

My Alliant/EX "VantageScore" is 856

My CreditKarma TU "VantageScore" is 898

My EX and TU reports are identical.

So much for consistency :glare:

lol... well mine is a balmy 655... lol. That's coming from Experian though right?

The "details" section on Alliants site references Experian VantageScore... So I'm assuming that's where the data is coming from.

Yea it was kinda a "duh" question when I realized that right after I posted. ;) My experian is a lost cause and I haven't touched it... so, I'm not surprised its my lowest score.

I know! I was hoping to get some sort of FICO score out of this.

Also, did you notice you can opt out of receiving your EX Vantage score?

I'm pretty sure a Vantage score costs them way cheaper than anything sold by Fair Isaac.

Yeah, I'm curious to see if they own up to that on the FB page
