BOA has changed the numbers to their UW so often and I wonder why.

 

The UW's are always so willing to offer up a direct number to the department...

 

I guess they are just quirky like that

Yup. Tried recently and was dead.

 

Called the reg UW number after 5 and it went through so it's possible they are open later now all together

Anyone have one of these for Ally Auto? I have two cars with them would love a shot at an in-house re-fi or rate adjustment. The frontline CSRs just recite boilerplate "not available" responses.

Seems as though we need an updated EO for Cap 1 - neither of the numbers we have are working anymore. They go right to regular CSRs

Got a 7-10 day message when applying for Walmart in the store. The print out says they need further information. The number I call says they will send me a letter - just wondering which of these numbers I should call? Synchrony Verification or Wal-mart Sr UW?

The Synchrony number for verification took me to a line for Lowe's cards. The Walmart Sr UW is the one I wanted, and they just told me I have to wait for a letter. Guessing that's a denial?

Then maybe you should have tried the Sr UW number. You know, the one that says Sr UW next to it.

Unreasonable fear of inquiries stops newbies from doing a lot of useful things. Please don't fuel that.

 

[Of course it probably also stops them from doing some completely absurd things.]

I just called. For resulting limits over $25,000 they require last year's 1040 (first two pages only).

 

You can mail it, fax it, or take it into a branch and they'll fax it for you. I'll be going into a branch with mine later today.

I was just having a "duh" moment, and no sir, I am not a blonde! But thank you for pointing out my egregious error. I stand corrected.

 

 

866-280-0118, 800-955-1455 Called to try to reach someone in the Cap One EO from these numbers. They request a security pin number, but I pressed zero, then got a rep and said I needed to speak to someone in the EO escalation office. Put right through. Thanks for this info!
