The Master Equifax & TransUnion B* Bumpage Thread

Recommended Posts

When I went to sign up for USAA it had the experian only plan and the upgraded plan with 3 bureus but it didn't specifically mention being a daily puller for equifax, Is this the one I need for equifax b*?

You want the upgraded plan. See the above post.

TY. When I read the site I took it as a once a month puller for all three instead of a daily.

I'm new here, going to try this out for a few months and see if I can get 14 INQ off of eq and tu each. I have USAA and Equifax Advantage.

I noticed EQ Advantage doesn't allow pulls on all three, is there a better one to replace that with? What daily pullers should I add to see if I can get some success this month?

The attractiveness of EQ Advantage is the ability to place a Soft that counts towards EQ B* and more importantly view all the EQ softs from all sources to keep track of soft count as you progress towards B* It is not meant to be a triple bureau puller and isn't required for that kind of functionality.

1) Get USAA Credit Check Monitoring Premium ( https://www.usaa.com...productType=3BR ). It is a 3-in-1 daily puller, but the main use is, it leaves an EQ soft that counts towards EQ B*.

2) Get EIDT ( http://www.eliminate...all/signup.aspx ). Daily 3-in-1 puller but counts towards EQ B* only. 24+1 rule applies for this puller, i.e wait 24 hrs + 1 min to pull a fresh report.

3) If you have an Amex card, sign up for Amex Credit Secure product. It is the most expensive ( $27 for daily pulls) out of them all. Daily 3-in-1 puller but counts towards EQ B* only.

4) Sign up for any free trials to add a little boost to the process. Remember to use only virtual CC numbers as if you forget to cancel, then you will get charged. See this master thread for some possibilities http://creditboards....free%20%20&st=0 and maybe try to find some of your own ;)

5) After pulling from all sources, finally pull from EQ Advantage. Look at the section that says "Inquiries visible only to you" and copy the entire soft section and paste in ctb's EQ counter http://creditboards....howtopic=494352 to see how you are progressing towards B*.

6) Rinse and Repeat till B*

This was amazing. Thank you.

So what's the best plan of action for B* if C* has obviously already happened? Keep at it with just USAA or add another and race them? (I've got 18 inqs on my Eq compared to 4 on the other two, and wouldn't mind dropping a few)

You are on the C* list so you need 3 daily pullers.

Thanks again for the heads up Bob, went from 19 (+1 during the block) to one left as of today (and I shouldn't C* until Friday). Cancelling everything but USAA today, and getting back to normal.

Probably one of the easiest B* windows ever for me, just B* off 3 short-time fling GF's from Nov!

Just 3 pullers, no BS! Sure has been a LOT less stressful and less work it seems! Just pull 3 times daily, and watch 'em disappear! Easy breezy!

For the BI folks, some info to use. I was all over the place last week trying to get my EQ unlocked - right when I got at 80 somehow I either got split or EQ locked me out, and said they would have to chop some softs inorder to get me back in. Somehow they got me back in without doing that, and I had to ramp up my softs to get my b* done in-time for tomorrow. Here is what trials I used this time, and I can't remember if I found them here or myfico, but just to pass it along, I used:

IdentityGuard

Freescore.com

PrivacyGuard

freescoreonline.com

identitysecure

Then I used my second update from MyFico EQ (you get two reports with scorewatch)

I did all this on Sunday during the day to get some extra softs - I only had 4 hards to get rid of, so I am not sure who stuck. My thought was I would have some extra because I had softs in between to bump, but somehow between it all - I actually knocked off all 4 on Sunday because when I pulled MPM later Sunday night - they were all gone! maybe you guys will know which softs stuck from the above pullers. This was from Sunday 12/9.

Now that CA has had C* I'm anxious to start getting softs....I have USAA, EC and EIDT...I know I read once that EIDT takes awhile to get setup. I ordered on Friday, fully anticipating a few days for the account to be active, but so far nothing. Any insight to how I can get it escalated?

Keep calling them - it should be in by now.

On another note, no C* in DE as of today, guess the move by BW to Wednesday is accurate for us.

Did you miss any pulls or did you get all 3 in everyday?

Nah, I missed a couple (stupid vacation, haha). I wasn't worried about it because I hoped I still had a few days. The version of the spreadsheet I'm using had the 16th as the estimated date for CA. Not sure if EQ surprised us or I'm using an outdated sheet. Either way, I just added EIDT and will have the ability to do CS in a few days, so I'm going to work on knocking everything out as fast as possible.

Hmm, should I project just one month into the future,

so people are not lulled into complacency?

I think you should just keep doing what you're doing... but maybe add a warning at the top that there's always a risk of unscheduled hatchet work. And maybe a recommendation to check for updates...

The multi-month predictions are really useful for long term app&B* planning even though they aren't perfect.

Quick question regarding desperation measures:

According to the counter, I am at either 79 or 80 softs. Then I add one, for the report I copied the softs from. So 80 or 81. I have 4 pullers (USAA, CS, EC, MPM. According to the prognostications, I will get C* (I am definate on the C* list) on Friday. I have 4 hards I would like to bump.

If I purchase a FICO, and/or sign up for another monitoring service or two, even one that doesn't allow daily pulls, can a get the last one or two softs I need to b* everything? I realise that's expensive, but less expenseive than keeping all of the pullers I have now so I can try for b* next month.

Thanks.

Is B* still working on TU? The counter says 60 and nothing has come off. The hard is ELAN and they usually come off.

I have about 49 pulls on SmartCredit right now.
