Jen23514
Where can I find the latest version of FCRA, FDCPA and FCBA laws? The ones listed here are from 2004 unless these are the latest. Thanks! http://creditboards.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=425508&view=findpost&p=4046762

lexei
Thanks so much for this information... I am creating a notebook as suggested. All the calls I get are for Zombie Debts or stuff out of SOL while I was awaiting my SSDI approval. I did receive my SSDI award back in December 2006, and I am trying to rebuild my FICO score. ChicagoBoss
WOW!!! This is all I can say, WOW. Lots of great info but honestly, Credit Repair just got 10 times more complicated for me. I'm not sure if I'm going to have the patience or the organization to pull this off.
Jen23514
WOW!!! This is all I can say, WOW. Lots of great info but honestly, Credit Repair just got 10 times more complicated for me. I'm not sure if I'm going to have the patience or the organization to pull this off. sure you will. bite off small pieces, and just tackle even one account at a time. or, at a minimum, work on utilization and not adding to your problems (staying current, etc). daytonaoh
Dont' do this! (biggest mistakes in credit repair) http://creditboards.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=2070 A question for the above advise, why not: "Don't add 100 word statements to your credit files." Also, why not sign letters?

Also, why not sign letters? Never sign letters to CAs or JDBs because they are mostly shady creatures and could transpose your signature to a different document.
