Exactly. I burn less than what all those online calculators say. No wonder I got fat.

 

I started eating smaller meals, at 2.5-3 hour intervals. Not even full meals, really. Except dinner, cause that's with family, and during those I really watch my portion sizes. I try to get up and walk a few steps once an hour. Sometimes that happens, sometimes it doesn't, LOL.

 

But the eating every 2.5-3 hours has sped up the metabolism a LOT. I at least now come with 100 calories of the online calculators. :lol:

I ran 58 miles this month.

I had mentioned before about the bet my fil made us (20 bucks for every pound lost) well he called today to see if we where "weighing in" this Friday, I talked him into an extension, now we have till his birthday in July. So almost 6 months.

I am so excited! I am so ready for the new year and to do great with this contest, plus the weight loss challenge one at the gym, although that one of course I would love to win it (my age group usually has the biggest amount of people) so my goal is 1st, 2nd or 3rd place, 1st or 2nd I hope.

 

So now I ready for a new year, can't we just skip this week and have it be Jan 1st already.

I spent all morning volunteering at an aid station for the Operation Jack marathon (operationjack dot org), followed by lunch with the organizer, and a bunch of other runners & volunteers. So amazing. The first dude to finish crossed in 3:06. At one point during lunch he mentioned he was training for a 50 mile race, "a nice middle distance race" :swoon:

 

Then came home and ran 8 miles :D
