How early in June? I received my card about a week after my purchase. I have to say I did not receive a bill in the mail this month and the payment was due tomorrow. I didn't even realize but good thing I went in and checked.

I would log in if I was you and see when your 1st payment is due. They seem to be having issues but I thought maybe it got lost in the mail.

From their FAQs:

"Will I receive a statement?

Yes, you will be mailed a statements every month, however not receiving a statement does not exempt you from making your payments. It is important that you always pay on time."

And I'm sure it's worded that way because their mailed statements seem to be hit or miss. DH has never received a statement through the mail, but he has received them via email without fail.

Somewhere I have the original acceptance email & IIRC it states that payments are due on the last day of the month, or maybe the 30th...something like that anyway.

I'd definitely log in & check to see if a payment is due.

I am going to buy my girlfriend something for her birthday from C.J. If I buy something, and apply for a card at the same time, would that make my chances any better at getting accepted for an account? My scores are low to mid 500's. So that's why I'm wondering.

I have the same billing issue, so thank you for posting about a similar situation.

As to their products, I purchased a Fossil watch because I am familiar with the brand and figured it wouldn't be as inferior as I've heard some of their other jewelry is. I am very happy with my purchase.

I can't complain about my $40 gold earrings. They haven't turned anything green yet. Then again, I'm not much of a jewelry person anyway, so I'm sure my opinion is discounted.

As stated above, CJ doesn't pull credit, & most are approved. Ordering before approval wouldn't work because you have to be approved first.

If you take the plunge, do not pay with a credit/debit card. Quite a few reports of known security issues/ID theft, so only mailed payments or via Paypal.

CJ helped DH start his rebuilding after BK. We owe them thanks for that. Now that we're past rebuilding, we booted CJ. Sad that they're only reporting to TU now. Makes it tougher for those rebuilding nowadays.

Yeah, I'm looking online now at their stuff and I'm not too impressed. But like Loveliest, I need the TL. Maybe I'll do what bonusmom did and buy myself a Fossil, since that's all I wear.

;)

I second (or third lol) the Fossil watch option. But just remember it only reports to TU as of now. But if you find some cards that are TU pullers you are good to go. That is how I got Wal-Mart. :)

I recommend paying via paypal only. I have read on here how sometimes if you mail in payment they take forever to process, and you may even be late even though you sent payment in.

My on-line account just says $2500 limit, $0 balance. But when I look at order details it shows the $61 bal.

I think I ordered June 3rd and since July 3rd is approaching quickly I better do something.

Maybe I better check my email junk folder. I was at least expecting a "thank you for ordering our crap" letter.

Because I hadn't received my card or bill, I logged in and found that they were using an address that's different from my mailing address :)

I noticed their disclaimer/credit policies state that the payment is due the last day of the month, so if you've got a balance, get it paid. I hadn't read the debit/credit card warning prior to my paying the bill, but rest assured, all future payments will go thru Pay Pal. Thanks CB'ers for the heads up on that.
