I don't think I'd lose much sleep if my credit lines were slashed out of economy-based paranoia. It would be different if I were the cause of it, but at least I could take ownership of that. As long as I've got one credit card I'll be happy enough.

I hate to say this, but with all the CLD's, closures, fee's and ratejacks the ludicrous idea that cash is king doesn't seem all that ludicrous anymore.

Too bad, I was just getting into using credit cards in an advantageous way.

I can't say that, given the fact that I've paid zero interest, yet used $300 in rewards gift cards to buy things for my new apartment and pick up some x-mas gifts.

Credit rewards stimulate the economy. :clapping: (okay, that's an obvious joke)

"IF" EVERYBODY DID THE SCAM--->FR/CLD/TOTAL CLOSURE...and you end up with 3 cards at $200 each

You can only spend $600 max in a month (really the best deal is 10% RULE)--->$60 (that is not even gas for 2)

I normally spend over $1,000 on a slow month

Some cards throw up the RED FLAG when you pay like 5 or 10 times in a month

Some you can't exceed 4 in a month

"IF" you max-out the 3 cards at $200 each...THEY "MAY" HAVE AN ISSUE WITH THAT TOO

:lol::grin::lol::angry:

CLDs wouldnt bother me considering I have plenty of available credit that I wont use.

CLD's are not a benefit to me.........

But what about when that CLD is 20% of your "AVAILABLE" credit limit

What about 2 or 3 cards and you LOSE 50% of your "AVAILABLE"
