They were a very easy approval, even out-of-state. All I had to do was make a donation to a library, to become eligible. They gave me a $500 card, with 14.5% interest. That's all I asked for, so maybe I can get more. I mainly just wondering if anybody has done business with them.

No experience with them.

This might seem like another good candidate if I wasn't already a member of 8 credit unions with my eye on 2 more

No, though, I haven't heard of them before today, they are slightly larger than the locals around here, but not by much.

This is a fairly good sized CU based in Newport News VA. No online membership application though. I won't be joining, I'm calling it quits at four CUs.

We have had accounts with them for years. They have great customer service and the best car loans rates in the area.

I could have gotten more, I just got a new card from NFCE for 10x what this one is worth, so maybe I shouldn't be so timid on my next CU application. All NFCU asked for is income verification, and I got it. If anyone would like to join this CU from out of state, you can apply online for their credit card, and they will call you and tell you how to become a member. They mail you your member application along with a membership app for a public library. It costs $5, and then you become eligible, just in case anyone is looking for an easy approval.

Good stuff, Daniel! Way to expand your portfolio.
