As much as giving birth to my son was without question the best moment of my entire life, I would hurl if I had to watch it from another angle. My sister was my Lamaze coach, and she took several still pictures of my son the moment he was out of me and before they cleaned him up - he ran across those photos about a year ago, and they totally freaked him out. :yahoo:

Seriously... I am NOT a sissy or prude, but I totally agree with Neen. I'd be ill. Disturbed. Scarred for life.

I know a lot of people who did and I think it's cool as long as they're happy about it. Heck, I know one of them who was on some show on some SoCal TLC-wannabe TV show giving birth.

 

I didn't, but I had a c-section. And DH wouldn't have been able to film it anyway. He couldn't watch (before the c-section during labor), stayed up by my head. Said something about ruining the view at the playground.

 

He did think that it was way cool to see me sliced open, though. Go figure. *sigh*

 

ETA that when I was about 4 months preggo, my perinatal nurse friend showed me some video about from conception to birth. I was disgusted by the fact that some chica had a camera up her hooha when she was getting her freak on, but when they showed the delivery, I had to leave the room. I wouldn't speak to her for a month.

One would think... but they didn't put a curtain up with my second. While my dr's were discussing their dinner plans over my open tummy, DH looked over and got an eye-ful. :blush: He was none too happy.

 

I told him it was karma, balancing out the last 9 months of discomfort for me.

Might be? ROFL.

Shes a little Thing 1 clone. She runs around here and terrorizes everyone and trolls them. She could stop Mouse and Eboni in their tracks and turn them into blubbering crybabies. She would train Pencil Necky into her little mini me and they would rule the world. People would run in fear. :blink: I can just see it now.

And, Rom took photos of the section in detail so I could critique later. I was pissed that OB didn't trim fatty stuff when he put me back together. All that money he charges, and we were already there, and cut wide open.. As usual, men have no common sense and need play by play instructions..
