deardarla Posted June 24, 2018 AMEX SOFT PULL: https://www201.americanexpress.com/cards/Ap...t?csi=0/0/b/510 Soft pull to prequalify but direct apply after that is hard pull. Immediate through Experian but I was approved. Very Happy! Sent from my SM-J700T using Tapatalk
deardarla Posted June 24, 2018 Do the preapprovals work if you are OPTED OUT??I don't think so. Never opted out myself. Try it and see. You can always take it off and try again. ⚘ Sent from my SM-J700T using Tapatalk
ubercat Posted June 27, 2018 (edited) I gave the CardMatch link that cv posted a shot, and it came back with Sapphire Preferred, Freedom, Freedom Unlimited, and the usual jank cards for suckers. Not like the Chase offerings are really neato... ...Sapphire Preferred has a 50k signup. Is that standard or unique to the offer? I find it strange that Chase would pop up because I'm iced across the board. I haven't apped for anything in about two years, so 5/24... mec Posted June 27, 2018 50k is the standard. I think there was a 60k a few months ago but I believe it is expired.

Zanshiro Posted July 13, 2018 Use Amex selector when not logged in, incognito IIRC, and it works. Though with me shifted to 0% paydowns again, I'm not planning on an app til around December. XD
busted2 Posted July 13, 2018 (edited) I have my reports frozen. (Sometimes I regret the hassle.) Anyway, do any of those links get under it for the purposes of prequalification? I assume not. Amex is my specific target. The backstory: 17 year old baddies from Amex. When I tried to prequalify Amex only said no offers at this time and made no reference to past history. Not sure if that suggests the baddies are not a factor and the respose was based on frozen reports. Edited July 13, 2018 by busted2

On the second link you provided it does. My eyesight is pretty good. As we speak, there are at least a hundred + people burning in hell cursing my perfect vision. 😂 And when I do need glasses in the future, better stop scrimping on your taxes. I'd rather wear that pink-flowered ladies jacket that CV has instead of those cheap, plastic, black-framed glasses we get issued by default. The ones I like cost about $400 a pair and I want four pair. What's your CC number?

PotO Posted November 8 19 minutes ago, hegemony said: so which hsbc card did you apply for I've had their normal Rewards MC for about 5 months now. They are cheap with limits. Initial approval was $9k, but bumped them up to $21k. Might go for their Premier MC soon if I get bored and you can't find other candidates for me. PotO Posted November 8 15 minutes ago, hegemony said: the premier offereings are okay; I keep thinking about signing up as HSBC has branches in the places I travel the most. They like it if you are their banking customer and they particularly like it if you are a Premier customer. Definitely agree about HSBC having branches everywhere. For me, that's also a big plus. There are, however, some negative aspects to HSBC. They are cheap with credit limits. I seriously doubt they will ever match my Emperor CapOne Card. 😂 Their customer service is good if you are Premier. If not, you are relegated to sh|thole country CSRs. Now, before the SJWs get their panties all twisted, I do not mind overseas CSRs at all. But HSBC has a few that struggle with coherente English and another few that about as bright as a box of rocks.
